To Thatcham or Not To Thatcham - Several years ago we started sourcing trackers for our own classics. What we found was that the greater majority of available trackers were 'Insurance Trackers', the installation of which would involve an unknown individual performing the installation without any knowledge or respect towards the preservation of a classic car wiring. Once upon a day, these installers were accredited by Thatcham Research, under the TRI scheme (Thatcham Recognised Installer). Thatcham discontinued the TRI scheme on 31st December 2018, which might suggest you are further risking the integrity of the installation into your classic. None of the truck & fleet management offerings were specific to owning a classic, nor were they interested in helping classic car & bike owners.
